We prioritise useful design, tactile materials, strong silhouettes and objects that can work in compact, rented or evolving UK homes. Selection is based on relevance to the Bulvar point of view—not on a product being new, expensive or fashionable.
How product facts are checked
Names, dimensions, materials and eBay item identifiers are checked against the source listing before publication. Product descriptions and styling notes on this site are written for Bulvar and are not copied from eBay listing text.
Prices, availability and purchase terms
A displayed price includes the date on which it was checked. Once that date is more than seven days old, Bulvar replaces the amount with a prompt to see the current price on eBay. Availability, delivery, returns, payment and buyer protection are always governed by the live eBay listing and eBay's current terms.
Guides and recommendations
Journal guides are created to answer practical home-styling questions with clear, original advice. Recommended products must be relevant to the specific room, material or use case being discussed. We do not publish invented reviews, ratings or customer testimonials.
Editorial product assessments
Each product page can include a Bulvar editorial assessment based on the listing information, supplied dimensions and materials, and the piece's relevance to a stated room or styling need. These assessments identify useful attributes and practical checks for the reader; they are not customer reviews, ratings or claims of hands-on testing.
Google product visibility
Bulvar product pages are editorial discovery pages, not merchant checkout pages. Their structured data describes the product, classification and visible Bulvar assessment. We do not publish a merchant Offer, live availability, shipping or return markup for Bulvar.co.uk because the current transaction takes place on eBay. The live eBay listing remains the source of truth for purchase terms.
Bulvar.co Club and The Members' Edit
Club applications are considered by Bulvar.co in four-week cycles. Selection is based on curiosity, generosity, relevance to considered living and the contribution a person hopes to make—not wealth, professional status or ownership of a finished home.
Member submissions remain private until reviewed. We select stories for originality, practical value, clarity, permission and their ability to help another person see everyday life differently. Member-made objects are presented for storytelling and inspiration only; Bulvar.co does not add member sales links or convert the gallery into a marketplace.
Digital and AI-assisted tools
Digital tools, including AI-assisted drafting and image production, may support the editorial process. Bulvar remains responsible for the final selection, factual checks, wording and publication decision. Generated editorial imagery is not presented as a photograph of a product's condition.
Corrections and updates
